Field Trip To Smith's Castle- November 17, 2006
The senior class visited Smith's Castle, an authentic working Early
Colonial American Home. The children were greeted by a costumed
curator and brought into its small rooms, low ceilings, crooked
floors and authentic 250 year old furniture to be shown how life
was lived by the Pilgrims and early colonists here in America. They
got to churn butter (and enjoy it on bread!), grind corn and carry
water the old-fashioned way.
