Hours of Operation - 9 am to 2:15 pm |

| The Emmanuel Day School will open its doors at 8am
(no earlier). School promptly begins at 9 am. This first hour provides
a window of opportunity which will help your child to ease into their
day. It allows a parent and child to stay and work on a puzzle, explore
a center together, check out our work, speak with a staff member,
or help a child feel more comfortable before separating for the day.
Please try to help us have your child ready to begin their day by
9 am. Children will have concluded Art Enrichment each day approximately by 2 pm and will begin organizing themselves for dismissal. Emmanuel Day School begins dismissal at 2pm and concludes by 2:15 pm. I ask that you really be here for your child no later 2:15 pm as children have had a busy, fun-filled day. |

| Traffic in the warmer months in Newport
can really be hard. Please plan enough time to leave your house and
be to school for 2:15 pm. Children have been here for nearly 6 hours
and are really looking forward to seeing you at closing. In addition,
many of the teachers are mothers themselves needing to get home to
their little guys and school buses. We make every effort to be understanding and, of course, understand that emergencies sometimes arise. Miss Dawn's voice mail is always checked by 2:20pm if there is a student still here. If you have not called, we will begin calling the emergency back-up list in your child’s folder. A habitually late parent will result in a fee after the first couple of times. Please help us to make every effort to close on time and ready our school for the following day. You are always welcome to play and talk with other parents outside after dismissal. Thank You! |
