Violin Lessons at Emmanuel Day School |

| Private violin lessons are offered at EDS on a weekly
basis. These lessons are instructed by Lauren Benowitz in our beautiful,
historic church for half-hour sessions. Lessons are held on Tuesdays during school hours. Your child will be excused from his/her regular class to attend or if it is not a regular day, then you may drop your child off just for the lesson. The cost of the lesson is $10 per lesson to be pre-paid directly to Lauren before the start of each lesson. The rental of the instrument is very inexpensive for the year. Lauren Benowitz is an instructor at the RI Philharmonic Music School and has taught violin to small children for some time. Learning an instrument at the Pre-K level is a wonderful way for children to help build their coordination, confidence, and musical ability. Violin performances are during the Christmas and Graduation shows. |
